Just called Auto Nation BMW here in Tucson, they have one 135i in, made an appt. and am going to go check it out tomorrow, I can't wait!!!!

Question- Are you paying MSRP for 135i? And is that MSRP out the door or did the dealer tack on license, title, etc. fees? Also, if you order the vehicle through the dealer because you want to get certain exterior/interior configurations, is it all MSRP based pricing or will the dealer flex?

I would like the 135i in titanium silver with gray/charcoal boston leather.

We are paying MSRP plus TTL. According to the SA, walk-ins were paying a premium over MSRP, but the internet dept could sell at MSRP. Couldn't verify though. If you order the car the dealer won't flex because at that point the car is technically custom. The reality is that the dealers option and package their cars so heavily that we paid 4k less that the cars that are going to be on the lot, in addition to getting exactly what we wanted.
It isn't huge but the SA threw in tinting and floor mats.

Went and test drove a 135i at BMW Tucson today, it's an AMAZING car. They had 3 1ers in; montego blue 128i, crimson red 135i, and a black 135i with coral leather (the one I test drove). These cars are beautiful and perfectly sized.

Same here... the problem is according to their online inventory they don't have any 135i's with manual transmission! Also all the 135i that they have listed have from $7K to $10K in options!

So those of us who want to test a manual transmission or see one without tons of options are out of luck...

BMW's new 1 Series really is just that-the only one in its class.

If you're interested in everyday driveability and can keep the cost down, the 135i really is the one.

And so says Motor Trend.

I'll be getting mine in Munich May 19th. Then, after a week of Swiss alps and Tuscan food, I'll give it back and wait the long wait for it go get to New Mexico. Paid ED MSRP and the dealer (BMW Santa Fe) has been absolutely great.
