Cleaning wheel scratches

Sorry, don't have any pictures but had a lot of scratches on my 1m wheels.
I used some Meguires' medium cut polish #1 and a micro-fiber towel. I rubbed with the contour of the wheels and most of the scratches came out.
Then I waxed them. Don't know if anyone has had this issue or tried this.

Hi !
I used autoglym Super resin polish and found that most minor scratches could be concealed this way ..
Would be good to hear from others !
