$1,500 Install for EOM Downpipes...

Yikes! I wanted to get my AR Design Downpiples removed and my OEM put back on. I found a local shop (Edge Motorsports) in Dublin and they quoted me $1,490. They were nice enough to take off $149 though.

I had a Mini mechanic in Chicago do the work in under 3 hours. Am I missing something?

Do you guys have a good connection in the SF area? I'm in the East Bay. I might be interested in parting with the downpipes as well.

**Edit**
I meant "OEM"

Performance technic in Pleasanton- they do all my suspension and performance mods- best shop in the bay. I think down pipes are around $380ish-400ish.

They do very good honest work. I have been to most of the bigger shops in the Bay Area and honestly prefer performance technics work and approach to doing things. They only work on a few cars at a time, have a very clean shop, very good techs and let you in the garage to see your car and the work going into it (some of the larger shops in the area do not let u step foot in the garage)

I drive an hour out of SF to get to Ptech, u are lucky you live so close.

Great. I'll give them a call. Should I let them know you recommended me? Looks like you get plenty of work done to your car so maybe they'll throw you a discount next time you work with them.

I can do them for $300 and I'll come to you with my own tools.
I am in Antioch but I have a job in Danville.

Depending on your midpipe (if OEM) I can have finished in less than three hours.
