Rear rotors
So I have bout everything and ran out of funds last time because shipping was 100 dollars. I just need my rear rotors. I came by these. 9.99 is a steal but should I be warned? It's OES not OEM. If I don't do this I will go with centric 125 rears priced at 97 dollars a rotor. Let me know guys. Thanks

Wtf! I hate you. Lol I spent almost 300 for my stop tech slotted fronts with shipping and then another 370 dollars on Pagid pads. Now I just looking for rears. I'll check them out.

Ouch... I've spent just over $350 for all 4 rotors, Hawk HPS pads front and rear, new pad sensors, and ATE fluid.

I'd ask where they source them from. Most likely China. What occurs a lot of times companies inflate the retail price and deep discount them. Not saying this is the case but they could be inferior quality.
I guess I have a thing about knowing about brake parts. Where they are made and why the cheap price? I would say at $10 each they're losing money on them or they're just cheap ass product and will fail on you.

All of my friends and I at the track (road racing) use NAPA or AutoZone blanks. Pair those rotors with whatever pads and you're golden. No need for drilled/slotted brand-name.

You are interested in a multi-thousand dollar airbox that is completely inapplicable for a street car, but want $10 brakes?

When their ad said "OEM" that got me suspicious. At first I thought it was each but then I read it again and it said per pair. Even at close out no one would sell them that cheap. Maybe it's a typo or one of those TV deals where you get two plus shipping and handling at $99.95.

No! Obviously not STIG. I was asking if there were OEM quality. I mean if it was who wouldn't want to buy rotors for 10 dollars lol. I obviously have spent a good amount on other quality components.

Between shipping it from China, transporting it around the US, packaging the rotor, and ECS's markup, how much is left for R&D and production quality?

Does anyone realize these rotors are cheaper than a frisbee? Come to think of it, a Frisbee is probably more durable.

trying to understand why it makes sense to use cheap rotors when tracking. I've read of exploding rotor failures at the track.

Shortsighted cheapness isn't limited to the street.

I've never had any problems with Advance/Autozone/NAPA rotors on street or track cars. Since I've had no issues with them in the 3+ years of track abuse, I see no reason not to used them on my street cars.
