Headlights

sorry if this has been posted before and im sure its been asked many times but honestly i just started using the forums!! -_-

so i have a 011 128i but it came with the regular yellow headlights and i really dont like them.

i dont want to order xenons from bmw because there 1,000 +

i've heard a lot about these angel lights converters.

which lights can i get that would be easy to just change from the stocks to much brighter ones? as long as the frekin car computer reads them. I had a 328i and it said i had no headlight and it kept announcing it over and over and over -_-

thanks!

Well, there are plain depo projection headlights, which are about ~500. You kind find them here,

http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/1-Se...duct_info.html

then, someone has converted those depos to higher quality LED angel eyes for ~800, which you can buy on the forums, from here.

There is another thread, but as far as I am aware, the depo's are the only ones that are available in the US

On top of that they are the only ones that work properly. Not cheap EBay ones...

It's not a terrible install process... just have to take off front bumper. There is a DIY on the forums somewhere.

There is the JCL custom DEPOs from Sam if your interested. Currently the only option besides OEM that doesn't require extra install of LED and HID retrofit error free
