Thumbs up SOLD

Hi

I have a near new BMW OEM Aluminium Strut Brace for sale in Perth. It is in near brand new condition and is for sale as I replaced it with a BMW performance carbon fibre brace. It is extremely easy to install (see attached installation instructions - page 9 onwards) and fits a E87 or E90 model.

They sell for around AUS$300 shipped on eBay from the USA so is real bargain at AUS$220.

Happy to ship anywhere in Australia at buyer's expense - quoted Perth to Sydney 3 to 5 working days $32.

Thank you to overseas members but will not ship overseas due to extremely high freight costs from Australia.

Drop me a note if you would like more details.

Thanks for looking

SOLD

Hey man, assuming ya in Perth as well. Saw that the nuts cannot be reused? Are these easily obtained?

Also, are there significant handling gains?

Hi

Yep in Perth too - didn't know about the nuts but I would think they are easy to obtain from the Stealer. Let me know if you are interested and we can see what we can do about the cost of the nuts.

I think it tightens the front up especially around hard cornering.

hope that helped...

Not sure if the BMWP strut tower brace will have the same performance benefits but when I installed my strut brace I definitely felt a good improvement in front end response. It seemed to change direction much more responsively, even when just changing lanes. This was on a completely stock car suspension wise. Good mod in my opinion.

I fitted one to my e36 M3 half way through a track day years ago. Turn in was noticably better and lap times reduced by 0.5secs. Not sure you would really notice on the road and the newer chassis are much stiffer anyway.

I do have one of these on my e82 125i though.

Hi

This is still available for $220 - I have received the brand new hex nuts and bolts from USA so it is ready to install as per the instructions.

As the bolts and nuts cost me money (was quoted $100 from Aust. Stealers!!!!) I am not prepared to drop the price.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks
