FS (SoCal): 135i Stock Wheels, Tires, & TPMS brand new (200 miles)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Selling my brand new set of the stock wheels & runflat tires with TMPS. I already purchased aftermarket wheels for my 135 before I even bought it. I literally drove it home from the dealer, had the car for 3 days while I was waiting for my wheels to arrive, then took the stock wheels off. They sat in storage wrapped in plastic and under a blanket and I totally forgot I even had them .

The tires alone cost $1300+ on tirerack. TPMS go for $200. I have no idea what the wheels are even worth. So, I'll make you a deal...buy my tires and I'll give you a free set of wheels with TMPS and tires already mounted, installed, and balanced.

SOLD

I'll entertain reasonable offers, but I think my price is already quite generous.

EDIT: For those asking, the tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT
215/40/18 Front
245/35/18 Rear

Not trying to thread crap but if you want this sold you need to drop the price significantly. Only OEM rims that go for 1200+ are the M Sport ones.

Also once tires hit the floor they instantly become worth 50% or less of their original value.

Trying or not, that is exactly what you're doing. In fact, you're the first person that has said anything about my price being high. I've gotten 4 different PM's from people saying they think the price is more than fair, but don't have the money right now. One guy offered me $800 just for the tires, but I don't feel like dismounting them.

I agree with you that these wheels are not worth $1200+. That's why TIRES, TMPS, AND WHEELS are listed for that price. ???

Let's use your theory and break the price down:

Tires are $1300. According to you, they are now worth $650. TMPS are $50 each = $200. Using your same calculations, I'll just say they are worth $100 now too.

So we're at $750 for tires and TMPS. You think FOUR brand new wheels aren't worth ~$100 a piece? You're completely right, $450 for a set of wheels is outrageous, and I should definitely drop my price (that is already listed as OBO).

Well since you asked for it.

I posted because your the one who has been bumping his thread 3 times a day and just posted saying "Come on people, this is a great deal!"

Which obviously means it isn't selling. The only thing worth it that your selling are the tires, because no one wants rims that they already have because all 135i's come with them except the M sport ones. Also your TPMS won't work on 2010+ cars because they use new TPMS so that makes them not worth it either.

I was just trying to help you since you seem desperate by bumping your thread 3 times a day when your product isn't selling which more often than not means it is priced higher than people are willing to pay. It doesn't matter if people say oh I would buy this but I don't have money, because they obviously don't have the money.

Also for the price your asking someone can get much better looking rims and performance tires

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...hlight=breyton

And you could probably knock a few hundred off that price as well.

First of all, bumping a thread ONCE a day during a WEEKEND is quite a bit different than "desperately bumping it 3 times a day." I have never bumped my thread 3 times in a day. Go scroll up, it's pretty easy to look at post dates...

Second, there are plenty of 128 owners that want 135 wheels, or 135 owners that have curb rashed wheels and could buy mine for about the same cost of repainting theirs. For that matter, at this price, you could just buy them as spares if all you wanted were the tires (which still end up being hundreds cheaper than tirerack when you include tax and TMPS).

Finally, there is no way you can buy "better looking wheels and performance tires" with TMPS for $1200 brand new (or used with 200 miles on them). "Cheap" nice looking wheels are going to run you $1200 for the wheels without tires. "Performance" tires are going to run you $1200 for the tires, without wheels. You keep acting like I'm selling WHEELS for $1200, when I'm selling wheels, tires, and TMPS for that price that are essentially brand new.

You weren't trying to "help" at all, you're a prick and you were purposely "crapping" my thread. If you wanted to "help" you could have sent a PM.
