Nice! So they actually put a European plate on it while the car is in Germany? You would think they'd use a paper/temp tag?!?

Nice pictures, my car looks very similar. My car had 3 miles when I picked it up (in US).

Thanks for the comments guys! This is the "newest" car I ever bought, they said they basically just rolled it out onto the circle. ROBCORN, great blog! i wanted to do something like it, but i went with 2 of my friends and some of the things may be too inappropriate for the forum

We did ED in '09. It was a blast. The most difficult part was not testing the 155 MPH speed limiter because the engine was so new.

Dumb question regarding the front plate they put on the front of the car; how's it attached? Do they drill holes in the bumper??

Unfortunately the roads were wet and it was snowing a little bit so I couldn't go as fast as I wanted to (summer tires). Regarding the plate, they attach them using tape and then peel it off when it is put on a ship

Good to know. It may sound dumb, but having holes drilled for the front plate would be reason enough for me to not go the ED route!
