Cons of the OEM run flats ???
Why are you guys ditching the run-flats? How do they grip?
I'd like to go with the Toyo T1-R, but don't want to get stuck with a set of the run flats that I can't sell. |

Ill be running Falken Azenis at the end of the month. Couldnt careless for run flats. I could even give them away. I dont think that Ill be able to sell them for a reasonable price.(especially if I sell them online shipping from canada is expensive)

Hey mtla4 - are the run flats 18's - I may be leasing a 128 or 135 and would be interested in buying the run flats due to the fact that when I return the car back to BMW finance it needs to have the original equipment (run flats)

NY, have you driven on the OEM 135i SP runflats - the Bridgestone 050A? I ask as I put 30k miles on the ones (225/45ZR17) that came on my '03 Z4. They are good handling tires; R&T pulled better than .90G with them on both cars. Because of the hard ride and price, I replaced the worn out originals with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 rubber, but I can't say the performance was any better.
So you might want to try the Bridgestones out before looking for a replacement. Tom K. |
