Front tyre question (Bridgestone vs Yokohama)
After 26k miles I have to change my 2 front tyres.
I actually have the Bridgestone Potenza RE050 215 40 18 RFT. I can change for the same (RE050A RFT) for usd $565 each, or for Yokohama S.Drive Non-RFT for usd $235 each. Anybody tested both? Suggestions? Reviews? Thanks |

I had S.Drives on my previous ride (NC MX-5), and they were very good. Great grip and wet traction, and they lasted about 35K-40K miles, not bad. The only nic against them was they got a little louder as they wore out, but that's not uncommon. After those I put Continental DWs on, which were quieter and even better in the rain, but we're not quite as sharp handling-wise (but I went up one size, so not exactly apples to apples).
I'm trying to decide between MPSS and the rest, but I have time; looks like my factory Dunlop run flats are going to last about 35K, which gives me almost another year.
