I use pretty much all Griot's Garage products on my jet black bimmer. I agree with everything you said, especially their wax; about how it's hard to get off. I'll have to try the spray-on wax tip.

Sorry, Katera, I've been tied up, apologies for the late reply.
Yes, I'll give the thumbs-up on Speed Shine. By the way, both the Speed Shine (spray it on) and the Car Wash (out of my foam gun) make a good clay lube. Though, I am not a fan of Griot's clay. I use Clay Magic blue for heavier stuff (my girlfriend's realtor-mess SUV), and Sonus green for light duty (my car, to get rid of minor issues, and not strip wax/sealant). Just another chip to toss into the pot! PS-Griot's is one of the best places to deal with when you need to actually talk to someone. Hands-down. |

I'm pretty sure you have to order Griots through their website or by calling their number. I just got a huge box of stuff from them delivered yesterday.

I would rarely mention this about any other company, but if you have ANY questions call Griots. The hold times are usually less then 1 minute and the people are awesome. They really love to talk about cars. I mentioned this before, but I sat and chatted on the phone with a guy there for about 20 minutes awhile back. We talked about the 1. There is a BMW dealer right across the street from them and he thought the 1 was cool

The only other place to get Griots that I know of is The Complete Garage. If you're lucky enough to be around one of the stores, they have a lot of garage products, including the entire Griots car care line, and Griots trained employees.

Ok guys I am going to be the Guinne pig here again, lol. I ordered yet another $120 worth of stuff from them including their Carnuba stick wax and most interestingly their brand new "Spray on Car wash kit". For those of us that live in constant rain or water rationed areas this is suppose to work well. It comes with the spray on car wash and three special micro fiber towels. I will have it in about a week, so I will let you guys know how it works.

Yeah, I saw that spray on wash kit in their latest catalog. I will be ordering from them once I get my car. Around July 15.
So far I want the leather care kit with wipes. Wax stick of carnuba and paint sealant. I dont know my list keeps growing, thats why I want to make one order and save on shipping with many orders. |

I was at the Auto store today to buy Invisiblle Glass. They had Meguires Gold class leather wipes on sale, so I bought a box. I'll let you know how they are. I will still buy Griots Leather wipes and compare the two.

Ok, few updates!
First of all, whoever recommended Waxing the rims deserves a ribbon. I Put a good coat of BOS wax on the rims, let it dry then took it off. They look absolutely AWESOME! Brake dust just washes right off now. I can't believe I didn't do this earlier. Today I put on Griots Long Lasting Tire dressing after I waxed the rims. It looks great and went on very easy with their blue tire sponge. I will leave it on a month and then see how it holds up, but it is supposed to last awhile. The really nice thing about it, is you take the finish you want. Basically if you want a matt finish <which is what I like>, that just looks like a brand new tire then you put on 1-2 coats <goes on very easy as well as it is viscous and does not drip>. If you like the high gloss look then you put on 1-2 more layers and it looks every bit as glossy as others I have seen. It comes in a small bottle and I was a little concerned how much it would take. LOL, wow does a little go a long way! I did all 4 tires and I can't even tell I made a dent in the bottle. It should last a long long time. I get my waterless wash kit from Griots on Friday so I will post about that next week.
