Took delivery last thurs, can't stop driving this thing!

This was my destination of choice for almost 15 years. As my username suggests, I used to ride. There are some great roads up there, you should check out rt 106...

It is @ the first circle on the rt 17 end...

I still haven't seen you around town yet. You going to the meet on saturday? Take a look in the ny subforum. Did you get your car at orange county BMW as well? The guys on rte 9 are horrible. Oh, you've got the same plate location as me too lol (Go mini).

Yup the gf and I will definitely be at the meet on sat, you coming out too? I got the car at Mt Kisco BMW, they were fantastic and very easy to deal with. I did all my test driving etc at Mid Hudson BMW on rt9 but they just wouldn't budge much on the price.

Cool, I'll have to check that out, thanks for the suggestion! Is it in NY or NJ? I tried looking it up on Google maps but can't seem to find it.

Are you going to be at the meet on Sat?

Bear Mountain has some wonderful driving. When you enter from the Bear Mountain bridge end there is a small road called Perkins Memorial Drive that leads up to the top of the mountain to a lookout tower. If you hit it at the right time, and nobody is slowly making their way to the top, this little shute is a ton of fun, and a good test of car control.
