I totally agree with that statement; and 1M is finishing the 2011 in glory, what a year that was!

I think we should get a thread that compiles all the different lists that the 1M is topping just to get some perspective as to how great this car actually is

I found it notable that the cars that made all three writers' lists included the A7, Sonic and Boss 302. Nonetheless it's nice to see our mutt win (yet another) best-in-show!

After (FINALLY) spending some real time with the car including a little blast on the Blue Ridge parkway, I'm starting to get a sense for what this lil beastie is about. Break-in service tomorrow. The full hornets nest will be unleashed forthwith!!!

That would be too long.
For a shorter list: a thread compiling all lists the 1M is not topping.

Garage List
1999 Z3 Coupe  [10.00]
1998 318Ti  [0.00]
1998 318Ti  [10.00]
2008 128i  [9.00]
On that list, it beat out the runners up. Hyundai Accent, Kia Optima, and in second place... Chevrolet Sonic!

I'm seriously going to rent one of those the next time I get out of town. Unfortunately, it will be a slushbox and that probably kills the buzz.
