BMW driver training - where to stay

Hi all - Happy New year.

In early Feb I am doing the BMW driver traing at Phillip Island and thought I would make a break out of it. Any suggestions on where to stay at Phillip Island? I haven't been there for 20 years!

It really depends on how much money you want to spend, there are some cheap / CHEAP places and then there are some nice B&B / Boutique Hotels.

The Quest Service Apartments are nice, especially the ones closer to the beach (not in the main street). A little old but still good.
The Cliff Top is a nice BH is over by SMiths Beach off the same road of the track
Glen Isler (spelling?) is another nice BH, is a long walk from Cowes heading the back way to the track.
IMO I wouldn't stay at the castle, unless you like possums running over the roof in the middle of the night.
Depending on the time of year most offer something through wotif.

Good Luck

Thanks for the input guys. I was thinking bed and breakfast (although the course included brekky). Will Google and see what comes up. Cheers

If you are after advice for motel or caravan park accommodation I've tried about 10 different places around Cowes and San Remo....none particularly memorable, but there are some to avoid.

My best mates family have a hand in the ecoresort down there, it's quite comfortable and great facilities. I'd recommend it. It's where I usually stay for track days at the circuit.
