Shadowline Grill and GP Thunders Installed

So I finally recieved my shadowline grill and GP Thunders from Gravity Autosports (they were great). Both things took me about 45 min to 1 hr to install because I couldnt get the passenger side headlight cover (PITA)!!!!! The grill took me about 7 min and the right angle tools are a must, made my life so much easier.:thumbup:

Here are some pics

(excuse the bugs on the bumper, I just drove back from Orlando and the lovebugs are crazy!)

More pics to come when I clean my car again :roundel:

Looks good...even the bugs. Did you notice a difference at night with the new lights? Further/clearer visibility?

No not really, it just looks better. During the day the stock halogens were brighter,but who cares. The halos match the lights better.

At first glance in that first pic it looked like you had the gray and white roundel on your hood, which would also look good with your color.

Dude, yer' car is filthy, how do you sleep at night? :wink: Seriously, bug guts can affect paint, slightly etching the surface. BTW, Floridian bugs look to be tiny things, here in Oregon some of the airborne critters which crash into my car are enormous, sometimes splattering a four-inch trail of carapace and guts, ick.

The mods look good.

Shadowline looks good on black.. I don't know if I can justify any extra cash after I just put in my detail supply order though..

Great install!

Would love to see photos of the whole car in shot, with the shadowline grille installed, as I'm thinking I'll go the black/black route myself.

Check out Texas' pic at the end of this thread (SGM, which is pretty black), I think it looks really good with the shadowline grilles. Some people with lighter colored cars have said shadowline grilles look like there are no grilles installed at all.

Thanks for the link. It's amazing, if I didn't read that was SGM i would've thought that was a grey car thanks to the light.

Ill have better pics as soon as I wash my car. My next "mod" is definately tints and then I have to save up since the following mods will be alot more $$$$$. Thanks for the compliments guys

Looks Great. Ive been considering The grill switch when my BSM 135 shows up in a few weeks.
I was also thinking of a grill w/ a little contrast from the black,...Carbon Fiber maybe?
Or HEY,..how Bout a brushed alum Grille? Any thoughts you guys? Might go well w/ the brushed Alum wheels I plan on purchasing.
Im not a huge Carbon fiber fan, but Im thinking the black blends in a little too much for MY liking. YOMV.

yea the halos are on in the pic. The sun was shining directly on them so it is hard to see.

Love bugs are terrible genetically altered bugs that ruin cars and can honestly cover your entire bumper during a 300 miles road trip. Back when I had my Sentra Spec V, the lovebugs were sooo bad. My front bumper, which is usually white, was black and red from the bugs. I had to stop at every other rest stop (70 miles) to clean the bugs off the windshield because I could not see out of it.
