You have to see live view of the stripes then you can't refuse them. It's like 1er in real life looks so much better than in photos

Just make sure you can get the correct offsets. I had to wait 5 months to get my Alufelgens because nobody was stocking 1-series wheels with the proper offsets. Too many 3-series out there, although some of the vendors are now beginning to stock wheels for the 1.

No stripes and go with the 313s. Just got some a couple of weeks ago and love the look on my SGM 128.

Not to hijack thread, but pics please. Good 313/1er pics are hard to come by.

Ill update my original post with 269's and 313's. If I follow through my car will look similar to Alow's besides the performance front bumper.

After looking at the links you provided with the pics, I think the CS7's in gunmetal look fantastic. Not feeling the 269's even though they are oem.

I love the CS7's in gunmetal. But I also like the performance 269's... The CS7's are definitely more aggressive.

Definitely no stripes. I remember you saying you bought the 128i because of reliability and that fact that you didn't need the extra HP. Just wondering if you still feel that way, aren't sure if it was the right choice, or really wish you had sprung for the 135i but are now committed?

I originally went with the 128i because it was a cost thing for me. Being a student, I really didn't need the extra cost under my belt with all other expenses...

I really don't regret it. I don't race my 128i at all, but rather like to mod as a hobby (throw around any extra cash I have ) BMW could have added 265hp to give the 128 a larger punch, but for what it is I have no problem with the power.

On top of that my dad is getting his 1M VO in a month because he loved the way the 1'er drives. So I will be able to drive that around for my extra power crave

Bought our 128 as a commuter car for my wife back in 09, and honestly, she can't keep me out of it. I forgo my 335 for that car. At the risk of sounding ridiculous, it has a sort of "pureness" that mimics (a success in this model that they intended when they made it) the old 2002s and E30s that I miss from BMW these days.

Two N54s later, and I still love the turbo, but the BMW enthusiast in me craves the NA. The 128 is my favorite BMW Ive owned, and that's saying a lot.

I guess my post from yesterday didn't go through... Be different man!! Lol I see you already ordered the cs7's so that is what makes you happy. Awesome! My vote was 313's but it's what you want, and cs7's look great. But add some flare, the stripes go well with the perf skirts, and add an aggressiveness to the side profile. Go for it! There are alot of great opinions on this forum but it comes down to what makes you happy. I wanted to be different and got Vossen Forged rims, I've never seen a 1st with them. Plus I got the RED with an AW lip!! Never seen red rims on here. My vote is stand out from the crowd, but in the end do what makes you happy

Yah. I totally agree that a ton of people have the CS7s but money wise I could only afford them and not the performance ones.

As for appearance I prefer a clean modded AWer. I appreciate everyone's opinions! I may still add the stripes as I haven't seen any like that before

Still a good choice...in all honesty I was looking at the CS7s and Apex Arc-8s before I chose the 269s. The CS7s and Apexs did not have the correct width for me...I need 7.5s in front due to my ST Coilovers.

I don't have any suspension mods as of date. But the CS7's have grown on me a lot. Can't wait to get the wheels and all other mods on the car.
