Well since 1m's were going for 10k over sticker when i pre ordered one. I got mine 5k under invoice fully loaded. Insurance paid everything but 2k for my 1m build LOL so i think im good with that. All the parts i put on the car i got at 50-70% of retail. I built the replica because I saw one at SEMA and i wanted a wide body anyways the size and offsets on the stock body SUCK. Only thing left is and lsd and its as close to a 1m. I wanted a dct i didnt want a 6mt. All and all im glad I had an accident and the build began otherwise it would be modded but not as well as it is.

Well done! It looks fantastic!
Cost of entry for a 1M is one thing. Then you'd have to add all the CF parts and custom painted items to a 1M as well, so the cost would definitely be more than what a 1M would cost.

bump lol well its finally below 100 in vegas this week, car runs great, terry keeps tweaking the software making it better, ive been chasing a boost leak too it hits 21 or so but drops off fast, i am running an e30 40% mix, ill take it to dyno soon, supposed to go to the strip on friday and do some runs ill see how it runs its supposed to be high 80s. I am waiting for a shotgun addition so i can run 100 % e85 too.

well since my original invoice was 53k it got it 48 lol i leased it for 3 years and pay under 20 for that, then i just bought it out for 19.2 lol so ill pay 38 when im done plus maybe um 2500 in carbon fiber lol and maybe some 6k in other mods im still way under a 1m that was over 10k sticker that i didnt get

So do you count your car as a 1m or is it still considered a 135i. I love the build though! Want to do it myself acutally!

its a 135 its not an m even though i have most parts that were added on it to make it an m
