If I read correctly, JE will eventually offer a single turbo kit modeled after unfor's build. Pricing will surely be astronomical, but all it takes to go fast is money

Depends on your tune, but ~370 should be close assuming its in good conditions. There's post floating around here(or on e90 post maybe) showing dyno results and mods.

I made 350whp with just JB4 and downpipes, and 370whp with same mods but added a Helix intercooler in 90+ degree weather. Stock intake and stock catback still in place.

I have JB4, RR downpipes, AA intercooler, Stett Chargepipe, Tial BOV, BMS intake, BMW performance exhaust, etc (see sig for more mods)...

I may be close to 450RWHP, but i dont know since i never dynoed the car.

I would love to dyno it, but i dont know any shops in the area (I am 20 minutes from Burger Motor Sports HQ).

More like close to 400whp. 430ish for meth + FBO. 450 for meth + fbo + race gas

Ya but not safely. Your putting quite a lot of stress on the engine specifically when pushing more than 400whp and putting your boost above 14
the safety concern isn't increased stress on the engine from higher boost. it is the lack of fueling to support that boost. this engine can easily take 20 psi

I'm sorry but I cant wrap my head around the fact that there isn't a fuel upgrade yet for this car. Its been out since 2008 and still no progress with the fuel issue. I'm tired of waiting. I WANT MORE POWER!!! lol

In retrospect this is funny since in the last 8 years the tunes have been able to do a lot more. Today JB4 nets you 400 horsepower no mods

Wow you guys brought this one back from the grave. Insane what we know the N54 can do, 700 hp stock internals. Lol, and we thought 500 hp was the limit. This is comedy at its best... 😂

Also funny how back in 2011 people were complaining about lack of fueling upgrades... Flash to 2020 and we finally have a few HPFP fueling upgrades, hurrah.

Just Out of Curiosity What would be a full Stock Build List On the 135i for Power

this is without major hardware (i.e. stock Turbos, Stock Engine Compartments)

Upgrades
Intake
Stage 1
Dual Cone Intake ~ $200 ~10HP
Metal Chargepipe ~ $300 ~0HP (Durabilitity, Meth Bongs, Flow deRestriction)
Blow-Off valve ~ $200 ~0HP (Less Turbo Wear, Flow deRestriction)
Turbo Inlets ~$500 ~??10HP??~ (deRestriction)
Intercooler ~400 ~15HP (Heat Management, Flow deRestriction)

Fueling
Upgraded LPFP ~$500 ~0HP (Better fueling to handle Higher HP)
Meth Tank ~$600 ~30HP (Heat Management)
Port Injection ~$1250 ~0HP (Anyone Know the Gains)
Upgrade Coil Packs ~$500 ~0HP (More Power at lower RPM)

Exhaust
Down Pipes ~$300 ~15zhp (Flow deRestriction)
Upgrd Exhaust ~$750 ~10HP (Flow deRestriction)

Software
MHD ~$200 ~75HP (Coil Pack Integration)
JB4 Piggy Back ~$400 ~75HP (Meth Integration)

What do y'all think look like a 475-500HP total build once all is said an done
8k with install for ~200HP and masssively increased reliability

Sounds Reasonable?

What year car? Well, regardless of year, I think your power goals are not realistic for stock turbo n54. Never on a single stock turbo N55.

No, not gonna get 475 to 500 hp. More like 380 to 425 hp and upper 400s with torque.

N54(07-10, I believe).

Not my power goals just seeing what you thought would be total output with all of those mods, not touching the turbo.

Like I mentioned 380 hp to 425 hp. The problem is the turbos start losing the ability to make power at decent rpm ranges. Even with a tune pushing 380 hp with your supporting mod list the turbos will fall flat at or just past 5000 rpm. I think you would like the PS2s they are popular with the guys wanting 500 to 600 hp numbers.

That's extremely low numbers for stage 2+ turbos. probably because your on Cobb. I have stock turbos and I guarantee I'm at at least 450whp. Full bolt ons stage 2 fuel pump on e85 with a custom tune.

Yep, a setup on e85 seems to be the best way to squeeze HP out of stock turbos.

Off topic a little but after reading your sig I'm curious if you have any other pictures of your wheels and tire fitment? And would it be possible to run one size wider in front and rear?

Not to answer your question directed at someone else, but I run a square 255 setup on 4 OEM rear rims front and rear and could see easily run a 275 in the rear with the right offset and width rim. I know someone running a 265 on the OEM 8.5 rear rims with no problem.
