N54VAGE Build Thread (Clinched Flares Widebody)

Alright, so I never really thought I would do a build thread but here I am. Little about myself, I'm 25 from Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. I don't post much but I lurk quite a bit. Now that the boring stuff is out of the way.. here is my 2010 135i with the Clinched Flares widebody kit and the widest tires mounted on an e82 (I think?)

Here is the current mod list:

Engine/Drivetrain mods:
Jb4 with a 93 pump gas backend flash, 2 step relay, and anti lag.
AMS front mount intercooler
Evolution Racewerk chargepipe
HKS SSQV 4 Blow off valve
N54 Tuning catless downpipes
Custom 3” resonated midpipe
Active Autowerke Signature catback exhaust
Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential
Defiv differential lock down kit
UUC dual shear selector rod
BMW performance short shift kit
Vader Solutions Delrin trans mounts
BMS cowl filters

Interior mods:
BMW Performance v2 electronic steering wheel.
BMW Performance short shift kit knob
E92 M3 seats
Suede wrapped trim
Vader Clip with tablet for JB4

Wheels/Exterior mods:
Apex PS7 deep concave profile wheels. 18” x 10” and 18” x 11”
Nitto NT01 275/35/18 and 335/30/18
Apex 90mm stud conversion
Clinched e82 widebody kit (full kit)
Custom headlights with BavGruppe DTM Angel eyes, quad RGB demon eyes, carbon fiber eyebrow, and blacked out housing.
OEM Euro blackline tail lights

Suspension:
BC Racing BR coilovers

And here are some photos of my car as it sat last summer..

And this is what I had to do to get the kit installed. Big thanks to all my friends for the help.

Will update once I get it all back and install it

Future mods for this car:

6466 BB turbo, racing bucket seats looking at Status, half cage with harness, rear seat delete, 3 piece wheels looking at CCW LM5 (need more aggressive wheels), and maybe bags... Who knows.

Looks dope. Would love to see some interior shots with the M3 seats and suede.

I've been debating M3 seats for my e82 for a while. How do you like them compared to the stock e82 seats in the chassis?

The kit looks a lot better than I thought it would. Not a backhanded compliment at all. Really impressive. Would love to see more pictures. Would you mind sharing your exact wheel specs on the apex setup?

Goodness, that's not a Flares kit...
That's a F L A R E S kit! Capital letters all the way!

I'm not generally a fan of screw on/bolt on/rivet on flares. Just don't like em compared to versions where time is taken to mold em to the body. But, damn...

Those are some stripper quality bolt ons right there.

With a 275 front and 335 rear that car would understeer worse than factory...

Love them. More comfortable and a lot tighter. Only thing I don't like is they sit higher than the stock seats.

Also thanks for all the kind words everyone. I'll get some interior shots tonight after I detail the car haha.

Drives fine for me and looks ignorant. More or less a highway roll racer anyways.

18x10 and 18x11 +25 square.. unfortunately they are not wide enough. Going with a custom 3 piece wheel this winter.

Yeah, it's not like I'm a track and autocross guy who has dedicated an entire thread to maximizing functional wheel and tire fitment on a 1 series... also strong post to bump the thread.

I think this is my favorite 1er. Breaking out of the tameness that seems to be most of the cars here. Not that it's a bad thing, but not my style. This and the tahiti green style one are beautiful to me. It's strange that the 1er community is tamer than the 3/4 as it's cheaper. Usually in the car world, cheaper means people go a little crazier with builds.

I cant wait to do a Clinched E88
