WOW! Sir, I am in absolute awe. You have done a very amazing job with this conversion. A few of us e87 owners down here in Australia contemplated doing such a conversion (N54 engine/driveshaft only) but never put it into effect due to the cost involved. I am pleased to say I can die a happy man knowing some hatchback around the world finally has a n54 in it hahaha

I really wish I kept one of my e87's to do this project. I am still considering it to this day actually...

A few questions if you don't mind me asking:
- How easy was the engine to mount in? Was it nearly a 'plug and play' type thing?
- How about the rear axle, did this just bolt in?
- ECU... I figured you can transfer all of the wiring from a n54 coupe into the hatchback and not have to worry about doing any wiring work. Is this how you accomplished it?

Again, I salute you in this great endeavour of yours. *high five* for being the first person (not business) to achieve this

So awesome, huge props to you sir!

I think with some spacers up front, the car would look perfect.

Your Car Looks really Great! I Love it So much work...

One Question... Why do you don't put the M3V8 Motor in?

Anyway... Great Project, Great Car and Great Design!!!

I used the n54 becourse of its potential , and this engine is easy to tune up.
And this engine is here to stay, its coming in the new M3 whit 3 turbos. So the tuners are going to use mutch time in the future on these engines. And get mutch power out of it.
Im going to opdate the turbos when ESS is ready whit there kit, and then we are talking around 500ps on the Wheels

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH you have just made my decision to get into a e82 135i so much harder!

I can obtain a complete 135i wreck here for maybe $10-15,000 and a 130i for $20,000.

Did you use a 130i as the base car? I wonder how different the chassis is between the M Sport 130i and a e87 base 120i... would you know? I'm talking chassis brace and rigidity here... Thanks in advance

Is it alright if I private message you later on? I was preparing to do a e36 + LS1 conversion next year, but this just makes so much more sense.

I'm going to start talking to my local mechanic/auto electrician for their thoughts.

Thank you

Do you have any videos?? I'm sure we'd all love to see and hear this thing tearing up the track Also, what does it do 0-100? You look to have little traction issues with those wide tyres!
