Opinion on bras needed

So I am going to be getting my car back from paint friday or monday. I got caught in a wicked sand storm a month ago and it pitted the paint all over as well as the headlights and windshield which are both being replaced as well. 80% of the car is being repianted, and since it is black I want to try and maintain it as well as posisble after the new paint. Of course the bumper and hood take the most abuse so I was thinking about a bra, but not sure about the looks of some of them I have seen. If anone knows of a good make that is of good quality, let me know. I am trying not to be on the freewya as much anymore since I moved closer to work so that should help, but for the long drives I know I will have to make I think the bra is thecheapest way to protect. Clear bras are too expensive and not as tough as a vinyl one for the bumper. I was quoted over $2000 to wrap the entire front end and that seems like a waste since a repaint will cost about that much, and I doubt I will get caught in another sand storm. My neighbor had is M5's front end clear wrapped and it did not save him from thebigger rocks that make the chips.

Best option if going vinyl is Colgan, avoid the oem accessory (it is garbage). Great product, fits 100x better than the oem.

I've seen magnetic bra's some where for other cars

Otherwise you need to do 2 things
Clear bra bumper and front of hood - $500 where I live
And use regular bra for horrible days. make sure clear goes beyond regular bra to avoid paint damage over long term use.

Thank you I will look for that one. I would never buy any BMW accesory anyway since they are so overpriced.

I went to a higly rec'd installer of clear bras and just for the bumper it would be 500 and the hood is another 500. Also with black if you just do one panel next to another one without the clear wrap it can be really noticeable they said. Lighter colors you can get away with it. I have seen cars with just the hood and bumper and it is pretty clear it is wrapped do to the difference in reflectivity. If I could wrap the entire car that would be great but man that is expensive.
