Worth the 10 week wait
I figured I may as well show off a little taste even though everyone seems to be super pro 135i. I'll be perfectly honest, after reading these posts and prior to picking up my 128i, I was kinda wishing that I had bought the 135. But, after picking up the 128i and really driving my normal schedule, the extra power would be wasted anyway. Nontheless, I am in love with it. Enjoy the pics.

Can you confirm if you do or do not have the "Year One of the 1" engraved on the start button ring?
Love the 128i pics!

How does the Sports package work on the 128i? No M steering wheel??

I was just wondering about how the Sport Seats ended up in the car without the M steering wheel. :iono:
Did your sales agent do something intentionally to your order to make that happen? I agree, the standard steering wheel is cool. It's really not that much different in its inherent design than the M steering wheel. The major difference is the perforations on the M wheel and the lack of the aluminum trim pieces. The thumb rest may be just a we bit more prounounced on the M sttering wheel, but not by much. But anyway, like I said, I was just curious how that could happen. So, hopefully you can explain it. And... the car looks terrific!!!!

The 128 gets these options w/ their sport pack: 17" wheels w/performance tires (style 262) Sport suspension Shadowline trim Increased top speed limiter Sport seats Since the 135 already has the sport suspension I guess BMW threw in the M wheel and shifter with it's sport package to make up some of the difference.
