Place first at my 3rd novice class event with the SCCA. I'm running times what SM guys are. I made stick it out in novice for this season then move on next year when I get more seat time.

Here's my last two runs.

Hard to tell from the video how your lines are and car placement, but I can see you just need to get closer to the cones and push the car more....I didn't hear the tires scream that much.

For your 3rd event your pace isn't bad.

Since my bfg rivals were toast from road racing, I threw on my conti slicks I had l. Yes I know it hide errors but I have learned a lot with the other tires and I'm not about to run my old RFT for autocross Haha, but I agree I could get closer in some spots. The car was going about 62mph or what ever is the top of 2nd gear for our cars. I didn't want to shift in too 3rd and lose speed and having to downshift in the middle of a changing gears for a section to pick speed back up.

eBay trunk lip spoiler installed. Sorta screwed up the taping, but got it corrected and is barely noticeable.

Also, picked up a front sway bar from an E90 M3, just waiting for the AA headers so I can install them together.

Haha, before cars, sneakers were my thing. Probably the best and worst investment of my time and money I ever had. What I have now is very modest compared to before since I got rid of most of my shoes.

Good mods! Nice work. Now all we need is a picture with the whole car in the frame.

Keep it up!

Its a N52. Got lucky, cause the car was from Arizona. I didn't even know there were different engines when I first bought the car.

aFe Magnum FORCE Stage-2 CAI.

Nice noise and definitely better throttle response. No noticeable performance gains, but definitely makes the car more fun.

Intakes do make the car more fun, and you pretty much bought the best of em all I think. Good work!

E90 M3 front sway bar, Swift Spec-R springs, Active Autowerke headers, BMW Performance short shift kit (lever only) and the Active Autowerke tune all installed last week!

I am now completely satisfied with the car and feel I am done with it until I can scavenge some money for set of lighter wheels, but I can handle that for sure when I need new tires. I also need to stop because I have only had this car for 4 months and just went all out (see my sig) to the point that I have to ask myself is this all worth it? That bug bit me hard.

SSK is definitely a game-changer for the car, makes the shifts so noticeably short that the 128i feels like an S2000 at times (without the smoothness of the Honda's transmission of course). My highest recommended mod of the group for those wanting to make the car more fun.

I've had the BMW PE on for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. Completely changed the attitude of the car. The gurgles and pops when you let off the gas or downshift are just the right amount of aggressiveness for daily driving while making for a much more enjoyable experience. If you haven't yet, you need this exhaust!

Last night I just installed the performance short shift kit. Best damn upgrade so far. So much better than stock and crisp too. I've had the car for 5 weeks and still looking for more mods to do. Did the aFe stage 2, cf trim, aa tune, and about to mount vmr710s 19" wheels (getting rear tires in tomorrow so my pic is half and half lol)

Nice! Both the SSK and the CDV delete are two mods I feel that made my car much more fun to drive. How's the aFE intake sound?

Any spare money I have is being saved to be used eventually for a house down payment at the moment so I have no money for car mods now days. I'm living vicariously through the pictures you guys post of mods done to your cars .

Wait for a good deal and you can get the aFe for $200. I actually got it from the e90post forums because it shares the same model. Well worth it. Sound is really strong at 3-4k, otherwise it sounds like stock, but when you want to showboat a tad, it's there on command

eBay CF Rear Spoiler finally came in. Thought about the one that matched my paint, but I really like the CF look...
