Judging by your driving style, Michelin Primacy HP tires.

I switched out my RFT at 20k, not that they had to be switched out based on wear, but I got a nail in one and used it as an excuse to go for Conti DW (not DWS, since I don't drive in snow, and the DW have better wet and dry performance than the DWS).

What I'm still not convinced of is the staggered set versus the all four the same set.

Car came with four matched rims. I bought a used set of the staggered sport rims. That's what I put the Conti's on. But I'm not sure it's worth the limitation of not being able to rotate them. TBD.

(That and the fact that my original RIMs are cherry, whereas the used sport staggered set weren't quite.)

And non staggered sizes provide a more neutral handling setup to dial out some of the factory understeer. The money saved by rotating also means you can get a nice tire like a Michelin PSS.

Hey StIg, can I ask what you prefer on the "mOnster" in Winter and the non-layered months?

I hate the RF's but it's one of those things.. Like throwing away a new pair of shoes.

And I'm cheap.

[quote=remixnzza;12642048]I drive mostly freeway (75%), got 40k out of my tires (switched all 4 just last week). Car came with the Pirelli RFTs. I have the sports pkg stagger setup, never got an alignment either../quote]

I have the same setup, but use winter tires for 6 months of the year. maybe I won't need new tires until 80k?

2012 128 with sport package here. 17000 miles and I was close to wear bars on rear on my Goodyear NCT5s. Still had maybe 4000 miles left on front. Decided to replace all four with Contis, Extremecontact DWSs non run flats. Totally best decision I've ever made. Love this tyre.

Couldn't agree more Conti Extreme DWS are great.

Had a set on my previous 128i. Can't wait to replace the RFTs with Conti DWS.

I would recommend them to anyone...
