Just looked it will rain on Sunday...What do we do about the Sun. April 23 12PM EST Jones Beach lot6 ot lot 1 meet...do we move it to the next weekend? or do we meet up anyway and then go to some indoor location?

-Is Bay terrace Shopping Center in Bayside queens the official Rain out location?
When do we finalize the location in case of a rain out? 10AM EST Sunday?

Have you read the discussions on this which have been going on since yesterday? All of your questions were addressed.

The weather reports have changed multiple times and rain will stay longer in the tri-state area.

What I'm going to do is run a poll and see if everyone would prefer postponing for a week or using rain location.

This is a little off topic but i see you used to have a '03 530i sport.
Could I get a very quick opinion of how that compares to your current e90. My brother loves the e90 and he now regrets getting the g35. He is currently considering trading the g35 in for a CPO '03 530i with sport and 30k miles for about $24k-25K. I told him to just get a new 325i. He has driven the 5 and really likes it but he is afraid of electrical problems and other issues esp. with the warranty ending in about 6 months. Did your car have any?

Good question - I see my E90 330xi as the best possible replacement I could have found for the 530i. It's faster, handles better, and - aside from width - has the same interior dimensions.

The 5er did have a recurring electrical problem which resulted in a dead battery. It was never really fixed per se but disappeared when the dealer disconnected ALL of the modules, let the car sit and reset for several days, and put it back together. Other than that, it was flawless.

I prefer the new car over the old but both were great.

Regarding the warranty, if it's a CPO, how could the warranty be ending in 6 months?

Oh my mistake, the car is from a used car dealership. I thought it was from a BMW dealership. It is not a CPO. But the guy was offering him a warranty similiar to the CPO for about $3,000. I went with him to drive it today because he was ready to finalize the deal. Personally, i think 330i felt better overall and handles better but that car was surprisingly peppy and pretty fun to drive for a car its size. And it felt like i was driving a German tank. THe doors and materials, all top notch. That car is definately a classic. One problem though, the instrument lights kept flickering on and off during our test drive! Some of the digits and letters in the display would appear and disappear so my brother was a little put off by that and is gonna hold off for now.

$3000 is a lot for a non bmw warranty and if it already has problems, I would pass. It IS a great car but the E90 has much newer technology and a warranty plus it handles better.

Sunday April 23rd Jones Beach 12PM EST Lot 6 or 1 meet....

-Due to the rain no rain forecast....
-At this time it looks like the rain will end by 12PM EST noon, as if just for our meet and the will resume sometime around 3-5PM EST....this should give us enough time to meet everyone take some cool pics, video and confirm another meet so that we can stay in touch more often...
-so just to confirm at this time it looks like the Jones Beach meet is on!!!!

I thought we were either gonna select a different location or postpone it? My personal opinion is to just postpone til next week.

Tomarow should be fine. We might as well take our chances with the rain since there is a chance of rain next sunday too. And, as JSpira said- april is rainy - A little rain isn't gonna kill anyone. Worst comes to worst we go to an alternate location.

Reguardless, it should be fun.

meaning west on rt27 in NJ? or are you coming from PA?

He said he is staying near the hamptons. If he travelled west from NJ or Pa. he would end up in Ohio.
