Upgrade to multifunction steering wheel
I have a 2008 120i hatchback. It has the standard steering wheel. I want the multifunction controls. Can I buy just the cover and the buttons or what exactly do I need? Will all the controls work instantly or is there something deeper that needs to be replaced as well?
I do have the steptronic trans but I don't think I want to pop for the paddle upgrade ( if that is even compatible? ) Thanks for your help |

Since this forum is largely dominated by owners of US-spec cars, which have the multifunction wheel as standard, you might not get many responses here. Have you tried babybmw.net? I think it's a UK-based forum, and seems to have more info on the hatches and lower-trim coupes.

Getbmwparts.com is pretty well respected in the community.
