New Slek CF Trunk Installed for 135i

Hello everyone,

For those out were who are looking at the Slek CF trunk, it is really good. I ordered it from Hp autowerks and it takes about 2-3 weeks for it to be ready. Once it was ready Harold over at Hp autowerks called me and told me that it is ready for it to be shipped. Once it was ready he talked to the manufacturer of Slek and the manufacturer suggested to Harold that if the customer would like it installed for free since it is a local pick up. Since I am close to the manufacturer I went over and installed it.

I really like how the CF trunk looks since I wanted to change the look of my car. It makes both the car sportier and aggressive. Quality is great from Slek they just came in at the perfect time to substitute Icarbon.

I personally wanted to thank Harold at Hp autowerks for his help and personal attention for this matter. I would also like to thank the manufacturer for installing it for me.

hope this helps

I would say that I had the Rear Bmw performance spoiler and it looked great but this just makes the difference that I was looking for. The color and the shape of it is just superb.

Looks great!! I love the trunk too, I've had mine for a couple months or so. Gets compliments all the time, and really finishes off the rear of the car. I just wish SLEK would finish up the front hood, as I've been dying for it to be released.

Here's my trunk/car.

Honestly I didn't think a CF trunk would fit a light colored 1er, I've seen it on black ones and dark grey ones and it looks brilliant. But I'm really impressed over the look on yours. Your 1er pulls it off.

Nice install

The trunk looks really good on your car. I love the look of the quad exhaust and diffuser. Please post pics when you get your hood.

Looks really good on your car, plus the quad and the rear diffuser give it a much more aggressive look. Btw what diffuser do you have on. I want to get a rear diffuser but with more Fins, almost like the BMW performance but that is just to pricy.

Yep, and thanks for the compliments guys, I really appreciate it. Exhaust is totally straight through, with no droning, and just rips at WOT. I've taken a quick in-car video of the sound, and will get a clip outside the car this weekend and post it. It's about the only BMW inline6 engine noise I've ever been proud of, and I've owned a bunch. Also, I don't want to junk up Saf's thread so I'm out.

agree, i just install my cf trunk from Slek last week and it look very good.
I dont know the foss about the slek trunk lip, compare to the Icarbon lip.
Personally I love the look very much.
A few BMW drivers pull down their windon on a red lights just to tell me that the car look great with that trunk.................that's positive feed back for me.

Anyways, I will post a few pic this weekend with a few comments.
