New owner in WA

Thought I'd introduce myself. We have recently bought a 2008 135 with 61k kms on it, Silver, manual with sunroof and came with a Remus muffler and short shift kit.

The car is replacing our tarmac rally Evo IX and the plan is for something less serious but can still handle some time on the track or some sprint type events.

Decided to sell the Evo and replace it with the 135 as I couldn't see me doing any more tarmac rallies, as I'm now circuit racing, so wanted something easier to use on the street.

Have already bought a Cobb and the plan will be to get the suspension sorted and a set of down pipes.

Welcome to the forum! Any pictures of the new ride?

Highly recommend getting an upgraded intercooler too, the stock intercooler won't let you do more than 1 pull before heatsoaking on upgraded boost.

Welcome! You should have great fun with the 135i. If you're tracking your car then I agree in recommending an upgraded intercooler. A proper LSD, subframe bushes and damper upgrade will also make a difference. Oh and stay on top of the maintenance (spark plugs, coils & fuel/water pumps) and she'll be good to you. ?

Thanks for the feedback. No car has black leather. We ideally wanted white with red but we could say no to this car.

I did notice that there was a 135 entered in Targa Tas this year. Wife was wondering how one would go. Am looking at seeing it's times.
