Do either of you guys (pete of vince) do coding or have the software for the f-series bimmers. I finally got the ENET cable (for the FSeries) and it came with 5 freak'n discs (ebay) which i installed on my laptop (around 20gb) but have been unsuccessful to open the software (seems to be mutliple compressed files which wont open even with winzip or winrar) and was hoping to play around with it b4 the meet. I also noted that some forum members say you need "esys' and "pzdata" to run the program. Any clues guys? |

It may do. I'm not entirely sure. Have a read here:

Ok everyone, one week away from the melbourne meet and coding session people. ive got a fair number of people already putting their name down and sending me PM on this forum as well as the other forums i have posted (1/2/3/4/5/M series aussie forums) so should be a great turnout. If you haven't done so, please either send me a PM or post a name reply to this thread to let me know so I know how much goodies to bring on the day for attendance (ie donuts/croissants etc).
Cheers... |

Stupid question perhaps but what kind of coding options are available for a 1M? What can be done vs how they come stock?
I coded features into my Golf R that were disabled from factory, like rain sensor window up, tear-drop wiper enable, adaptive lights etc but unsure what if anything is 'missing' from a 1M. |

2. have dvd/tv running/ playing when driving 3. speedometer showing digital readout on dash instead of relying on the needle 4. auto mirror folding when locking car. considering its already an "M", most of the features are already on the car compared to other regular non "M"s |

You already have digital speedo on the dash. - If you already have idrive then a lot of the lighting options are configurable via that instead of coding it. - Can code some stuff to activate with the keyfob e.g mirrors and windows - Code the sunroof to close on rain sensor activation (bit pointless as the rain sensor isn't automatically turned on when the ignition is on) - Eject key by pressing and holding engine stop button (instead of having to press the key to eject) - If you have fitted LED bulbs can remove the cold/warm checks that may throw error codes or induce flicker - Increase angel eye pwm duty cycle (makes angel eyes brighter) - Can code out your high beam assist mirror icon in the instrument cluster so your cluster displays the mileage and current display (e.g speedo fuel consumption etc) at the same time. Your high beam assist will still work. This is a dropbox link of some NCSDummy dumps for a few different modules. These give you a list of every configurable options of an ECU. Most of them have a brief description of each setting. Open it in notepad++ so it renders properly https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mzx3r6o4x...bwcg1C1Da?dl=0 I will be doing tutorial + basic coding for people at the meet. Will not be doing any flashes e.g Alpina flashes for AT transmissions due to not having battery backup for safety. If anyone has any coding requests, put them here so I don't have to research the coding item on the day.

Vtl is the guru...
get rid of my start/stop function (permanently disable the damn thing)...plus i dont think that is good for the turbos in the long run. (id rather have them working for longer than save a few cents on petrol.... Also Vincent, can you check to see if Active sound can be turned on for Non M cars...Heard it was a feature in the F series. cheers. |

High beam assist though, I don't think I have it? Any way to check? Google says it's a blue sensor on the back of the rearview but some have said they see the sensor but HBA doesn't work. Was this standard on Australian 1Ms do you know? |
