Feeler:OEM e82 e88 power\auto fold mirrors black

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Feeler ad:
While in Europe I picked up a set of power fold mirrors and matte black frames wouldn't match my existing High-gloss Shadow Line.
I'm loosing my interest in an upgrade that would require sacrificing my existing mirror frames/mounts.

Up for sale:
2 mirrors power, auto fold, black shells Not sure if Jet or Sapphire so refer to pictures while updated. Sides left and right
2 complete door wiring harness for left and right
1 main window mirror switch fold control (1 metal clip slid off during transport but your existing can be used)

All parts came from one car and were tested. Looking for $500obo
UPS shipping and paypal fees included in the price, Pictures will be updated tomorrow.

Is this an easy PnP for anyone without the Premium package? Does it need re-coding by dealer to work, will passenger side mirror tilt when in reverse? Thx

Yes

I haven't had it connected onto my car to know for sure, but there is a possibility that it does need to be programmed at the dealership

Mirrors were sold to me as fully loaded and tilt down is one of the common options so I'd say "yes" however my biggest concern was an auto fold and I never tested reversed tilt down.

I'm still debating this myself however, the lack of shadowline on the mirror means slightly more work on the buyer's end + uncertainty what it will take to install.

DaVinci: if you come to our meet you can bring them, I can try them out and confirm all of the above. If indeed PnP and seemless (without need for dealer reprogramming) I would be interested in the conversion. Thx

Seems like I didn't explain it good enough, there's a big possibility of PnP, however if your door wiring harness doesn't have a sufficient amount of wires to run an auto fold mirrors, whole harness has to be replaced with the one I got from original car. In this case reprogramming seems needed.
Give me more details about the meet, although there's a bunch of people watching them on eBay and there's a chance of those mirrors selling this weekend

Check out the thread in the Tri-State subforum as far as the meet. I'll follow the auction as well, but honestly don't think I'll be bidding without making sure I can do this upgrade seemlessly (don't really feel like going to dealer for a reprogram, adding time and money to this mod, just lost 3 days for a simple alarm coding last time I was there, had to disconnect JB3, etc. etc.) Would love if it were PnP, maybe I should look at my harness and compare it to the one that comes with these...

Did these sell? Thought the Ebay auction ended up closing without a winning bid?
