ok, Navigation question, and that damned second window

so im driving (as usual) and a thought comes into my head.

wouldn't it be more practical to have the navigation take up the main window and the other thing, like audio, on the smaller window.

is there someway to switch these two? Isn't the navigation image more important than the song playing??

What prevents you from using the main window for Navigation?

ya, instead of hurting my eyes, and possibly wrecking, why not make the navi big and the less important song tittle small.

I asked this a week or so ago. It can't be done but it should be. Map on left, song title, channel and artist on right.

Agree......What I've done is to push the idrive controller to the "RIGHT"and the larger screen will then show the same as the smaller screen. So essentially you have two screens running the same. The larger easier to see, but the same as the small. I have all the info I need on the bottom of the screen...ie: CD # , track, time, date. I agree, it SUCKS!! The larger screen SHOULD be for nav, and the other for the other stuff,. However, the only way I have found to have the larger screen show the nav, is by pushing the idrive controller to the right and going from there. I hope this helps...

its so utterly pointless to have such a trivia thing such as song tittle to be more important on the screen.

i also hate that the system doesn't allow you to have for example perspective view on the large screen and map facing north view in the small window or other combination. maybe it's just me, but it simply changes views in both windows to be the same. the only thing that i can choose to be different in the small window is the arrow view.
