Ok guys. I found a gent in Richmond, BC that does coding. In fact, I am meeting him this Sat. the 24th. at 1pm at Lansdowne Center in front of Future Shop. His rates are $20 (for 1 code)-$50 (for 3 codes). He said he is open for all comers. If there are enough of us, maybe we can meet somewhere??

Who cares about the drive, you are in a BMW!! It's going to be worth it to me just to get rid of the "gong sound". If you want, call me- 360-939-2156 ( Mike )

Did the Richmond BC coder work out?
Do you know if this person will commute to the Seattle area if a group pre-pays for his work? I definitely like to drive, but I-5 is not my idea of fun, and committing an entire (weekend) day is not easy for me either.

Coding went great. We met as planed and on time. Gavin knows his stuff! He disabled the seatbelt chime and ambers, mirrors in/out with fob, unlock doors when engine off, mph in cluster and a few more. Yes, he said he will drive down for a group tune. His name is Gavin and phone # is 604-306-8032

Hey guys, just an update. I'm now able to code in the Seattle area. I picked up the correct cable and software and did my 135i last night.
PM or post here me if you're interested. I'm in Issaquah. A small donation would be nice to recoup the cost of the cable. -TK |
