Not really "considerable" IMO, but you will definetly feel the difference. The freeflowing exhaust allows for a quicker spooling turbo and the ability for a bit higher boost levels . Torque feels stronger for sure. Now I have to start researching for a clutch since it started slipping
Pardon the video, I really need a better camera.......

Would it be a better bang for your buck to purchase N55 mid pipe rather than berk, Maddad or cp-e mid pipes? My exhaust system is completely stock.

If you have a good exhaust shop near you have them delete your rear cats and put straight pipes in or for a mOre silent option, use vibrint resonators. The bend on the left rear cat SOS tricky ,so get a quote first before they start..I saw a aP mid for sale in the for sale section, you should offer him a deal on it..If I didnt delete mine ,I would have bought it!

The turbo will whistle extremely loud after this mod,Mini dump turck sound alike .lol

as far as the smelling issues, you wont notice any unless you also remove the primary cats as well. There is always a small HP gain when you make an exhaust less restrictive but nothing to really brag about

I have the Berk Exhaust on my 2009 135 and am considering getting this N55 midpipe
Will it fit on my stock downpipes ? I assume it will since it's a stock part ? Thanks for the video, it really tempts me lol for 377.80 isn't that a much better deal than even the Berk midpipes which are 599 ? What are the differences ?

This is where I'm at too. I want either a Maddad midpipe ($649), Berk ($599) or OEM N55 ($377). Obviously, I know the price is the main consideration if they're pretty much all equal in quality, fitment and free-flow. But that's the question, are they?

OK this is my opinion, and remember its only that -- the Maddad is in first place now because 1) they actually show dyno numbers with HP increase; 2) their exhaust fitments are spot on (you rarely see any complaints about quality and fitment of Maddad on this forum); and 3) it tries to retain the OEM look.
Counterpoints?

N55 has two cats built into one in the DP, plus it is a much cleaner burning engine, thus no need for secondary cats. |
