shattered my chargepipe

hi guys recently blew my stock chargepipe I was boosting like 18 psi and I shattered it. I put another stock one, but gonna buy a after market one

anyone recommend the best one for the least price you can get

also should I just get the cp or one with a bov?

what's the use for the bov?

BOV releases the excess boost out to the atmosphere.
DVs recirculates the excess back into the turbo.

I don't think you should be running 18psi on the stock chargepipe in the first place because it can only take so much, lolol.

As for CP options, there's AA, COBB, ER with the option of a BOV (tial, hks, etc), or you can get a upgraded CP with upgraded DVs.

Lol ya I had to lower it to 13 psi

so you recommend getting one with a bov?

It's more of a personal preference. Our cars monitor air flow via MAP sensor. No penalty for venting to atmosphere. BOV's are, in my opnion, the way to go for venting large pressures. Most setups won't see pressures that high.

So, do you want to hear the valve or not. BOV = psst, DV's are nearly silent
