We have worked hard to bring to market what we believe to be the finest product of it's kind for your BMW. While there are always many solutions to a given problem at P3Cars.com we believe superior fit and finish, OE look and feel as well as long term reliability are paramount. No corners are cut and no expense is spared in product development. We also believe in excellent product delivery and customer service. In order to provide you with all these things we set a price that we believe is in line with the product we offer. From picking the perfect materials to machining and retooling for each new platform a custom integrated product like this goes far beyond popping a gauge in a void. Proper airflow is retained, electronics are protected to ensure long term reliability to OE levels. For BMW to provide you with a fantastic car such as the 135 it is not reasonable for it to be offered to the market for $26,000 regardless of whether or not it would be cool to have a 135 at that price point. A Timex watch tells time but can in no way compare to the feel, accuracy, design aesthetic or genuine solidity of a Tag Heuer Carrera. That jewel like quality of a fine watch or automobile is what we strive for and sadly, it isn't cheap:-)
It took months of R&D to bring this product to market. We have sold hundreds of 335 VIDI's and have now started to produce them in RHD. It is important to note that the RHD model received new parts, a completely different board layout and no expense was spared on it's development. In the same way the 135 VIDI has been painstakingly revised, re-engineered and custom made specifically for this application. We believe the modest premium is justified and hope you will too! Thanks for your comment. Please feel free to call us anytime or leave a comment on the web site. We welcome customer feedback. Cheers, Tim |

I just pre-ordered mine. Considering what it is, how it fits, and its function, I think its well worth it. But thats just me. I don't consider everyone to think like me. I think it looks perfect there, and i like the fact that I can switch maps with it on my JB3.

Uploading a teaser video! In-car video coming soon as well... as soon as I can get some daylight Here it is... The video doesn't do it justice... this thing in the car looks COMPLETELY OEM... It even fooled my SA at the bmw dealer... he was like "wow, is that a new bmw performance option?" In car video's coming tomorrow! -Rick Last edited by RiXst3r; 11-27-2009 at 05:32 PM.. |

Thanks for your order zamm3k ! With regards to the other question, the "71" number was simply how many we have for retail sales. It will show "out of stock" and not be able to be pre ordered after we reach 71. There is no minimum order we are looking for, this isn't a group buy so no worries there
As of this morning we have sold close to half of the total allotment so keep those orders coming. Another member asked me if we would have a 1 series RHD unit available, the answer is YES! but not in this initial offering, we are still finishing the fitment work for the RHD model. Thanks again for all your orders, kind words, and questions! Cheers! |

I disagree. If I am pulled up behind some I can see their center stack pretty easily. Not exactly stealth. I like it being on the driver's side. From the photos, it looks very OEM. I sounds like they put a lot of R&D into it and it shows. I am willing pay extra for a quality piece. Can't wait to see it in person. |

Lets not forget that the gauge blacks out while off, or if you put it into "lockout" mode, so you wouldn't see the numbers or bargraph... This gauge is very high on the "stealth factor" IMHO, more than any other boost gauge. Peering into a parked car especially, you would have no idea anything was there if you weren't specifically looking for a small black blank panel in the bottom of a vent. |

That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one - just thinking of options. Besides, if it went in the center vent there might not be a need for LHD & RHD versions. . . Have Fun, Rick

BUT - Ditto - center vents w/ a matching A/F gauge would be the bomb.
