Stupid Newb Armrest Question
Hi,
Stupid question: I just purchased a used '09 135i (I only test drove the '11) and can't remember if the center armrest is supposed to be height adjustable--mine just goes up and down with no other height settings. The car this is replacing (A3) had this adjustability, and I just wanted to make sure before I took it to the dealership for service work and ended up looking like a damn fool. TIA.

As my '08 128i does not have armrest height adjustment, I'd refrain from mentioning it to the dealer, if I were you.
Outside of that, enjoy your new car! Tom |

Tom - Thanks!
maxnix - Hmm...I guess I'll take that as "no, it doesn't adjust". If you've ever sat and played with the armrest of an Audi or VW, you would understand how it could adjust--simply partially swing the arm rest up and it holds its position. To reset it, just swing it all the way up to the vertical position and move it back down to a position of your liking.
