Last-minute DC Area 1M meet this Saturday (Jan. 7)?

Hi all, it looks like it's going to be great weather this Saturday so I thought I'd try to set up a last-minute DC area 1M meet. Here are my thoughts:

When: Saturday, January 7, 2012. 11am-12:30pm. I figure it'll be too cold to meet any earlier in the day.

Where: In the parking lot in front of Starbucks off Rt. 7 in Tysons Corner. You can see the exact location on Google maps here. I know, it's a busy area and there will likely be traffic due to metro construction, but I figure Tysons Corner is pretty central to everyone and there are plenty of food/beverage options in that plaza. I'm open to other suggestions.

And of course this meet is not just for 1Ms - feel free to show up no matter you drive!

Post up if you can make it! And invite your friends! If I don't get any responses I will assume nobody can make it and will not show up.

I'll plan to be there. Been looking for an excuse to take her out and tomorrow looks to be one of the nicest days in January. Tysons road conditions do suck badly these days though.

I live right behind the Sheraton, which is one stop light away from starbucks but I don't have an 1M sigh...

@MDORPHN - try to stop by! I know the traffic sucks but if you avoid Route 7 as much as possible it should be fine. I'm totally fine if you'd rather meet up somewhere else, since it looks like we'll have a very light turnout.

@bentone - awesome - plan on seeing you there

@jamesdhenderson_VA - you don't need a 1M to join in! Stop by! My sister lives in your neighborhood and I was planning on visiting her after the meet so I'll be swinging by your neck of the woods anyways.

I'll PM you guys my contact info in case you get there early or want to change locations. Otherwise, I'll plan on being there at 11am (will be in the bone stock VO 1M) - I look forward to meeting whoever can make it!

Wish I could have made it too. With a little more time beforehand I think we should have a nice showing. How was the turnout?

Turnout was great for a last-minute thing!

Me, MDORPHN, and scotth944 were there, as well as another 1M owner who lurks around the forums. So 4 1Ms. We also had a visit by MclarenManiac, who is active on M3Post and was randomly having coffee at Starbucks when he noticed the flock of 1Ms on the other side of the lot. Everyone was super cool, and it was finally great to talk with other folks who are as pumped about this car as me! My family and friends have vowed to disown me if I talk about it anymore lol

We should definitely setup another meet when the weather gets nicer (with more notice of course). The Tysons location was okay, but since nobody got coffee or food I think we can setup the meet somewhere different next time.

Sadly I forgot my camera in the rush to leave this morning, but we were missing a BSM. Aside from MDORPHN's killer AW (with some very nice mods btw) everyone else had VOs (in varying degrees of cleanliness, with mine being the dirtiest and Scott's being the cleanest).

Let's get more folks nest time!

Surprisingly most of us were too engrossed in chatting and checking out the cars to remember to take pictures. One person did manage to take a couple of photos with a cell phone, but as you can see below, even these were taken as an afterthought...
