Good to know my mother has instilled in me that constant nagging can eventually wear people down and get you what you want. Here are the various ones, though their pictures kinda suck and they look much better in real life:

http://www.shopbmwusa.com/ACCESSORIE...cessories.aspx

Your best is to either get the M ones (to maximize sheer # of Ms on and in your car) or the black background with white (or grey?) BMW on it that Kouper got. Here's what they looked like on his car.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...postcount=1466

These are the ones I got and they look aaaaamazing if I do say so myself.

I got mine on ebay as it was the cheapest and free shipping from BMW of Concord for $14.33. Here's a link:

Great stuff! Thanks for doing the leg-work on that. We should have a contest to see who has the most Ms on their IS. I already have 2 additional since I'm rocking the orange 1M carpet mats in my car. If I add 4 more Ms with the stem caps, I'm going to smoke you guys.

Then I'll have to add the M license plate frames. Front and back will get me 2 more. Where else can I add some?!?

There's the M235i and then your car which will have 235 M's. You could always get some vinyl stripes, stickers, get an M badge to put on the back, M keychain, M wallet, and of course, always have to wear a full on douchey M outfit from head to toe with matching hat. They probably make M logo driving gloves, too. Then fill your entire car with M&Ms.

RickMSport had a similar feeling when he did it after his break-in period.

Driving generally with the sport button on will make the gas pedal about twice as sensitive too. If you want it to hold the gears longer, but still be in automatic mode, just move the shift lever to the left so you're in DS mode. That will hold your gears to like 3-4k RPM as opposed to the 1500-2000 it does in normal drive mode.

For the oil change, check your dealer's website in the "value" section or service specials as they usually have some oil change deal. They usually don't list our cars, so I used a coupon for an N55 335 since it's the same. For like $80 it's worth it. I think we all find ourselves going out of our way to do special things on these unique lil cars, too. I always said I'd check my tire pressures once a month like a responsible driver, but never really started doing it til I got this car. I can also say that the fancy $14 BMW valve stem caps really do a hell of a lot better job of keeping the air in our tires compared to the stock dinky caps, too. First few months, I was losing 2-3 psi per month. After putting them on, I am usually dead on when I check every 4-5 weeks. So, I'd recommend those as well. They're quite perty, too.
OK thanks for the all the good info! Yeah i was skeptical about the upshifts being addressed by the throttle reset, I've done extensive reading on the subject but for porsche's pdk, and it's the same thing, leave it in sport mode for 3~4krpm upshifts. The dealer put nitrogen in my tires, it supposedly helps the pressure not fluctuate as much with temperature, so i have the little quirky green valve caps. I could use a blue marker and draw M's on them and give owen2001 some competition

My trunk liner is a really colorful serape mexican blanket. my wife always complains how it instantly devaluates the car. Of course, I could stitch a M badge to that too.

Crap. I went w/ the Bavarian Auto fitted trunk liner for my IS. Who knew I could have added another M if I had just gone a different route. Where were you guys like 2 months ago when I ordered this from Bavarian?!?

Try the throttle reset, see if you notice anything, and hey, you could always get the fancy BMW nitrogen valve stem caps! =)

Scot - I know how to fix your trunk liner - just buy a set of 50 of the M wheel decals and put them in the trunk! They're on sale, too! 50 for $18.99! They have a ton of other M's on there for you as well.

http://www.bmwdecals.com/BMW_M_Wheel...ms_Decals.html

Then, here's M's to put on your key fobs:

http://www.bmwdecals.com/BMW_Mtech_K...al_Emblem.html

And one for your iphone and perhaps ipad if you have one as well:

http://www.bmwdecals.com/BMW_M_Iphon...ome_Decal.html

Is it wrong I kinda want to buy this one, though I have no idea what I'd do with it?

You can wear it as a pin on your BMW hat. It will go well with your BMW sweatshirt.

I'll let him find his results cause can't remember which thread they're in and I'm lazy, but I definitely thought you'd enjoy his results, which to my untrained eye made it seem like overkill.

Granted, I did the post break-in oil change at 1474 miles and I think realistically it probably isn't THAT important and at 5k likely would have been the same or produce similar results. But, I do think 15k is too high of an interval.

You should try to send your oil in for analysis when you hit 15k in a month or two. =P Now THAT would actually be an interesting comparison - the results of your oil to owen's. I'm curious, with all the driving you do, when is the computer currently saying you should change your oil?

Yep. I posted a while back in the "1,200 mile service poll" thread.

The results were better than I had expected. I changed the oil, the transmission, and the rear diff. The total cost was less than $300, so I can sleep peacefully at night IMO, it was worth the cost. But to each their own.

Here's the image I posted. Be sure to read their summary at the top.

Ha! You also were leaving out his matching BMW running shorts. Apparently if you wear BMW clothing, it makes you look and stand like a douchebag, in weird poses and often times leaning unnaturally in one direction. Here are some examples and ways I will be walking towards and looking at my car!

I think she's holding in a fart and so is kinda stuck to the wall.

Fine Worra, perhaps I'll post a weird montage of pics of my car in a bit that are interesting to look at. May that hopefully counteract all my BMW clothing pics, though I just bought everything I posted pics of so am now broke.

news =)

Good time of day). I finally made it to the computer), it was actually quite difficult, because the last few days have been what that crazy, one thing after another! I hasten to inform you nishtyak that I took just yesterday).
Before you bring to your attention the whole list zapchastyulek, I'll tell you about what I wanted to do initially on a body, and of what eventually came).
Evolution Racewerks Time Attack 135i Race Car with FE Widebody Kit - this kit consisting of front bumper, two wings and two thresholds, made of dry carbon.

The weight of these pieces together is only 7.7 kg =) that could not please).

Let me remind you that the weight of the native plant sets a penny weighs 22 kg ( heavy wings ) . Well , I loved this kit , it is styled in the M- package , only it is much wider , just under my baggy wheels. Started to negotiate with the Americans to order this kit ... silence ... write , write , silence . Call this office, phoned ! and we were told that these kits they do not. I was very upset , but do not lose hope , maybe they would have agreed to the project yet to make another set ) . Call later , the manager kindly told the situation that has developed in them. In general, a person who directly made these skirts simply just disappeared ) . They do not know what to do , where to find him , they said that they would sue him . In short it was the last hope, but alas nothing happened. What to do, I thought. Put all of 1M - that I feared the most ) did not want to copy the appearance of 1M =) . But the situation has put me stumped . All other body kits that are currently run on the internet - an eyesore! well, or too hard DTMsky style . I did not plan . After consulting with friends and active people who participate in my project , I have decided to order a kit 1M. And you know , it is very steep) . I felt like it ) . So muzzle was in Moscow in stock! ( Lucky me ) .

Next week, two more will come Circuits, but the preparatory work for the saw cut rear fenders have already begun!) =)
Guys really need your support! each record and each pleasant word - for me more power!) Thank you!
