Question 135 hesitation at low throttle/load

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 2008 135i convertible. Had all the fluids replaced as well as the plugs as I wasn't sure how long ago all that had been done.

The car runs great EXCEPT at really low throttle/load (like 5 to 15% load). It tends to hesitate/jerk, especially in 2nd gear and a little in 3rd gear. 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th aren't really an issue though.

When I put more load on the car (20% throttle and up), the hesitation goes away and the car runs just fine.

Any thoughts? Wondering if anyone's experienced this before?

Thanks.

I live close to toronto and also had hesitation problems in the winter.
I had always used Shell 91 V power in my car but happened to fill up with Esso 93 and the hesitation disappeared.
