Anyone out there with Oyster Interior?

Just wondering what your thoughts are it, hard to keep clean, stains easy or is fairly resitant? I'm picking up a used 135i with oyster/black interior combo. I'm somewhat hesitant, but I havent seen it in person, from what I have read it looks better in person.

Never seen it... but as a guy with black interior and having come from tan interior in a previous life, I can tell you it is impossible to keep black looking clean. All I see is dust and sand and cat hair.

Does this replace your Vette or are you just greedy

I like it. I don't do anything special to this interior that I wouldn't do to any other color. I have a little wear on the driver's outside side bolster from sliding in and out, that's about it.

replacing vette, I'm on list for M2 and should be able to order second half of year. Originally I was told back in March of last year I wouldnt be able to order M2 until early 2018!! 3 weeks after buying Vette, dealer said good news you will be able to order mid 2017! So drove the vette for a bit but getting out of if now before I lose money too much money on it.

That looks good! The one I'm picking up is Titanium silver with the same interior you have!

I've thought about it from time to time.

I have oyster interior and as someone that daily drives it and mostly wear jeans, it's kind of a pain to keep clean from the blue colour stain. Got to regularly wipe it clean and I try to do it at least once a month. On the other hand, the same thing probably happens on black leather, although it's just less noticeable.

(I don't have any jeans that new.)

Actually, I know what that's like. I have both a cat and black interior, and the cat hair occasionally clings to my clothes from the house (and cat) and I bring it in to the car. Don't really mind though. Personally, would rather have the black interior than a lighter color.

PS - My favorite color interior is Coral Red. Had it in my first 1er with Black Sapphire Metallic paint. It doesn't go with every exterior color paint imo but it went great with BSM. Will forever miss it.

Have it on another car. Love it. Real cool on those hot summer days. No problem keeping clean but I never wear jeans.

I had oyster on my previous car. I wore jeans here and there and never had a problem. I did however develop a dark stripe across the seat where my belt would hit. It didn't really look bad, but just warning you ahead of time.

Other than that I loved it. Cool in the summer and looks amazing - especially with anthracite headliner.

I have that color combination in my 2012 135i convertible.
No real issues, but I baby it.
The color is light so it will show stains.
And apparently cat hair.

Not oyster, but lemon leather here. Not a DD but I clean it well with Lexol products 2x a year and it cleans up nice. I think it's a small price to play to have a unique color configuration. Really happy with mine.
