AA DPs installed with AA axle back!

First off, install is not easy. Definitely a pain in the ass. Took about 2 and a half hours. Not particularly difficult, but time consuming. People were warning me about how loud it may be and I was hesitant, but I love it. I have jb4 and am running map 5 and I could instantly feel the difference even with the tune still adapting. I'm running 255s in the rear and I still spin in 3rd so I guess new wheels and tires are on my list. Anyone who wants a loud set up with great sound, crackles and pops, I recommend this. I will post a sound clip later on. Overall extremely satisfied with my choice in DPs.

With the stock DPs the crackles and pops were definitely there and would occur occasionally whenever I was decelerating in gear. I would say that the pops/crackles happen almost every time I decelerate in gear now. Also when I'm accelerating and shift at high rpms I hear a nice pop when I shift.

I want to hear it! I have the AA axle back with the N55 mids, been wanting to add DP's but i'm worried about how loud it might get.

Ya no fitment issues at all, they fit snug but definitely fit. It would be hard to believe they are defective to the point that they don't fit, unless you see an obvious dent or bend on the DPs that isn't supposed to be there.

so he send the pipes back to AA and there sending a different set also my mechanic told me that some times they don't test fit them. he has install down pipes on all kind of n54's lots of times.is there any diffrence between a auto or manual transmission for Installing catless down pipes on a n54?
