2008-09 mirrors on a 2011 135??
does anybody know if the 2008-09 mirror assembly fit and work on a 2011 135?
i HATE the mirrors that came with my 2011 135 and would like to change them to the older style mirrors. Thanks! |

It does work. You just need the correct ones. If you have heated the you need heated ones. But they are expensive, depending on what you have it can go up to 400each.

I too have an '11 and i feel that while the mirrors are HUGE I can see not a whole lot more than i did with my old e90 mirrors. Granted i don't think im quite used to the dimensions of my new car (2 weeks new); but I don't feel as confident in what im looking at just yet.

Larger mirrors were introduced by all manufacturers in MY 2010 to meet new/higher safety standards. I speculate the thinking _maybe_ that larger mirrors will encourage drivers to actually use them before attempting lane change maneuvers.

It's getting mirrors that meet the new standard, but they will have a different design, like any M car.
