Apparently yes, and if you don't want to risk it, Andrew at SouthernBM can probably supply them at a reasonable price. The only thing is I am not sure how in stock they are .

You might want to pick those up in the US while you are there.

The point of dp is to gain hp, by removing the cats, to have a less restricted flow. Stock dp has 40-50% flow, catless is 100% and a 100 cell high flow cat is 95% flow. HJS makes a 90% flow euro 5 compliant cat as well, but each cat alone is > $500 US and 100 Cell ones are > $700 per cat.
So what is the gain at all from DPs?

You can hold a higher boost?

freer flowing exhaust = more power...

Catless DPs will typically add 20-30 rwkw

Its a really good upgrade, you can run more boost safely and the turbo whistle sounds awesome.

Just dont do it if you are worried about warranty etc. Personally I could not give a stuff. If something breaks I will buy it in from the USA.

Reduces back pressure. Having cats straight after the turbos is not great for their efficiency.

If using JB4 u can use Map 2 safely - 14.5 psi. Map 1 is 13 psi.

I worried about warranty for the first 2.5 years but then decided to bugger it. Keep the car and mod it and if it stuffs up its my problem.

Not too worried about warranty. If something breaks that they claim to be caused by the mod - you just pay for it. If they charge you an unreasonable amount, you just take it elsewhere. I don't think anything has been broken so far apart from mods on n54.

Will they still do the free servicing on your car if you get mods?

Interesting about being able to hold the higher psi...

I couldn't see there is any reason why they won't, but I never had the terms and conditions.

OP you seem very concerned about your warranty. Perhaps mods are not for you?
If it keeps you awake at night then it's not worth it.

Are high flow cats legal?

I heard its a massive fine like $10,000 or something for not having a cat?

Depends where you are located...

In Maryland I have never had a problem with aftermarket HFCs on any of my cars during inspection/pulled over/anything
