I wish I could join in on the 23rd. Here are some nice cars from my trip.

My buddies told me there was a Carrera GT and a Koenigsegg were there. Made me sad I missed those two.

Nice photos 135Junky.....thanks and glad you got so much seat time...consider the slow laps to be track familiarzation laps.
As for this weekend trip to the ring, the weather is suppose to be partly cloudy...no rain But, I have conflicting things to do Sat as my wife wants to go look at a car in Bamberg....if that falls through then will be heading towards the ring Sat night and probably stay at spang...maybe head over to Wade's apt to change tires...bright Sunday morning at the ring when it opens for the special ring taxi ride...then do some laps...as far as i can tell, right now it's me, maybe Elsabor, FDM, JK, Swadeness and maybe "that 1 guy"...anyone else coming up? BTW Dackelone, you going to be in Bamberg this weekend?

Yes the Carrera GT was sweet, a Koeningsegg? I didn’t see it how can I not see my favorite hypercar? The MB was an SLR 300 well it said it on the back of the car. The M3 GTS was a different one, I saw like +5 of those!

Noop. I was thinking of driving South to Stelvio again!!! ( I will be back/around Sunday though) Where is the car in BA you want to look at Rick? Maybe I can swing by and take a look-see (& pics) for you.

Not sure that's the best phrase to use...
I'm taking a friend to the run Saturday afternoon. We'll watch a bit of the racing and then do a lap or two during the evening tourist drive. Anyone else keen on attending? EDIT: We should be there by 13:00 tomorrow.

Yesterday's trip to the Nürburgring was great. The rain stayed away and the sun actually came out between the occasional cloud bank. I had a good buddy along with his friend visiting from the US. She was so into it and her enthusiasm was infectious. I did a lap early and there was almost no traffic. My second lap I avoided a spinning 911 (lift-off oversteer FTL) and passed a 360 Modena. That will make you feel like a rockstar! B-) The brake pedal got a bit spongy on that lap. I checked the fluid and I had boiled it (DOT4, SS lines, Cool Carbon pads and titanium heat shields) over but nothing serious happened. Luck was with me for sure. Then I got a ride-along in a C5 Z06 with a completely built motor. That thing reved to 7000 and sounded soooo sweet! After the 'Vette guy gave my buddy's lady friend a ride she asked if we could sit by the track and watch cars for awhile. I almost shed a tear. "Of course we can..."
Such a fantastic car day I had to share with the group.

I am going to make every attempt to head there next weekend if the weather stays on my side. I've had so much going on here lately. Spent all damn day outside detailing my wife's car for shipment tomorrow. Next is the old place on Ramstein!

Can they split the cost between 3 people? Or is it per person?

Nice video! Wish I was there... Yeah, can you split the cost with all the people that ride along? I'm still trying to manage a trip there in October, aiming for the weekend after the meilenwerk. Hope the weather won't be total shit by then.
