Exclamation Mention of 335i in April Roundel

"Turbo 335i confirmed Some sources, including Roundel reader codenamed Dan, feared that because research shows that many potential American BMW buyers are not fond of turbocharging, the new 335i would come with a normally aspirated 3.5 liter six cylinder engine specially developed for this market... but forced-induction fans will be relived to know that America will indeed get the turbocharged version. The four-door hot rod will be introduced in the next few months as a Model Year (MY) 2007 car."

Those of you with 330s on order now what?

This info seems geared toward the four door e90. Any mention of the e92 335? Or could it be Roundel got confused when getting info on a 335i and mistook the 'i' designation for four door news? It has been widely speculated the coupe and sedan will both be a 335i. I find it hard to believe a new sedan will release before the coupe (maybe at the same time but not before). Roundel has been known to get facts mixed up at times.

Current news is that there may not be a sedan 335i for quite a while

I usually take Roundel rumor info with a grain of salt.

HA-HA!
Roundel magazine...puhh-lease.

Don't get me wrong, Roundel has some great writers and terrific articles, but these are the same guys that predicted that the E60 5 Series was to be delayed until the Spring of 2004.....only a few short months before it actually arrived @ dealerships in September of '03.

E90Fleet, I am afraid to ask, but how certain are the sources for the delay in the E90 335 compared with the release of the E92 335? Are we talking months or a year?
