You can try them, but if your going with LED's, the Lux will be your best bet.

i actually got a pair of lux 1 series for you. it's 285 on NA sports, i think. I'll let them go for 200, brand new, never installed, shipping included, also 2nd generation so you don't have to be worried about the recall. PM for details if you're interested so we can exchange numbers.

I am also interested in upgrading the halo's. Are the LED or HID's better?

The LED seem cleaner since there are no balasts.

My main concern is color matching the projectors (I believe BMW stock are 4300k?)

Personally, I think the HID's are way too bright. Almost to the point where they blind other drivers when passing or if your behind someone. I would def. go with the LUX V3's when they are in stock again. I think they will be available again at the end of this month
