Question How to keep exterior trim from colourizing?

It's weird, the black around my windows is getting a slight purple hue to it...probably sun fade? Any way to repair/stop?

It's not sun fade, it's something to do with Hard water I think. If you are diligent with spray shine it will come off some. But give this a Look:

Hard water and shitty soap. Use a decent cleaner wax (I use Zymol) and it comes right off. Looks awesome and only take a few minutes.

My 08 trim looks like new but I hand wash my own car and take a great deal of time doing it I also only use high quality products and have had great results. A basic car wash takes me 2-3 hours but I get comments all the time on how new my car looks and most people don't believe its an 08 with 40K on the clock.

Weird, I did not get an email with updates ... should I get this :

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009JKIRC...XVRZFZTCR86NR&

I have 70k on the clock, bought it at 68k, just something I started to notice I want to keep clean and looking nice! I use car washes, as they're faster and I have no where to hand wash it myself.

If I get that, and some elbow grease, would it come 'out'?
