Picking up NEW BMW 330i Tomorrow!

Well the journey is almost complete. It has many - many months and tons and tons of research. I finally am taking her home tomorrow. I just hope that I don't experience ALL the issues I have been reading about for the last several months on this site.

I will be giving a full report down the road after a month of driving. I have made all the right choices on options including nav and sat radio. Listen, no matter what they all say about I-drive, it is worth it. It is a comperhensive computer on-board and it can give you very specific data in regards to your car. It will save you a lot of time if you're lost.

Have a good night ALL and enjoy the pics. I will get better quality later. These were from my sales rep.

Note: notice the thumb rests! I was part of the Sept build bound for the U.S.A.

Wow - that's one very cool CA. Sounds like he/she really understands what it means to us enthusiasts. Good luck tomorrow!

Well I got her home and I am pretty amazed at this car. I'm going to give some fast facts so far this weekend after picking her up Friday. First, there is about 5 inches of owners manuals including a CD-ROM disk that comes with the car. You will have plenty to read. Second, I did get SP and I still am not sure about the comfort of the seats. I'm 6' and weigh about 225lbs. I have them completed deflated and I think there to small even for spirted driving. I will keep working on getting comfortable or losing about 10 to 15lbs. Third, there seems to be a slight back and forth motion when driving on the express way. Kinda like the car doesn't like dead on center? That is really disappointing so far. I will keep trying to figure that one out. Forth, BlueTooth with cellular phone works great! No issues. Sat radio is worth the money. If your on the fence, buy it! You will never own another CD. The fit and finish is great so far and I heard no rattles. Fifth, comfort access is really cool. Works like it should, but can be a little funky with the alarm. I did buy the factory alarm. The car is so quiet you will be amazed. If you have ever owned a coupe, this is the next best thing. It really feels like I'm in a coupe. The car is very sporty and tight. You will really love that feel. Oh yeah, let's refer to the whole brake discussion, there is no real issues to worry about. Yes, I can feel some different sensations on abrubt stops, but nothing that makes me hate the brakes. I don't even think about them when I'm driving.
The side mirrors are a little small, but not unusable. There fine. I really think for me so far having the car 48hrs is those damn seats. Why BMW didn't give us bigger guys a little more room is beyond me. Oh well, it wouldn't have stopped me from buying the car. The solution is I will seriously have to lose some weight. I can do that for the drive.
Final thoughts, this is one fine BMW and I think you will really enjoy your e90 once you get it. I really can't wait to put my finger on the START button again!!!

Could you explain more about the alarm and the CA? Do you end up using the remote to unlock anyway beacause yo have to disarm the alarm?

I am 6'4" and about 185 lbs. One of the things I really like about the e90 is the sport seats. Much better than my current e46 M3, and for me much better than the sports seats in the e60 5 series.

Love your car. I just ordered a Ti Ag with Black seats and aluminum trim.
