Okay, let me now if/when you may need it. I may be looking into the methanol injection kit that was potentially being offered on here but other than that nothing. I am actually happy to wait a little while before getting a flash in hopes that my fuel pump will do its thing and die so that I can get the new one before the flash and not have to worry about having a tuned car needing a new fuel pump under warranty. let me know, thanks!

Don't you guys think that with the mods done to this car it allows it run more boost safely? It sounds a little dangerous and irresponsible to say a tunes for a stock car when it was tuned on a car that has been modded.

It will likely be a stage 1 tune only.

We have seen many 335i running a piggy back up to 14.5 psi on a stock car without any other mods safely.

HP- again just let me know if/when you are doing a stock car, I am looking into ESS too, I have heard great things about them, especially that they use a reflash method identical to what BMW uses, which supposedly makes the tune undetectable to the dealer, don't know how/why this would be any different than your or Dinan's tune methods though

Here is another dyno. We used a mustang dyno down the road and managed to pull off 341whp / 351wtrq @ 11.7 PSI.

So is this dyno for Stage I or Stage II? You're advertising Stage I in the OP.

that looks pretty, good, same question, stage 1 or 2 and stock car or not? I am leaning towards this now because ESS is only $750 for any stage but I don't want to pull out my ECU and ship it and deal with all that when I can just head up to santa barbara and have HP do this for me

This is a stage I software flash on our 135i, which was stock except for the O2 sims and AFE intake. I have Riss Racing down pipes, full CP-E Exhaust, Code3 IC, AFE Intake. We will be running these mods on our stage II flash. The car is back to stage II with all of the above mods and we will be reporting numbers very soon.

I'm going to flash a bone stock 335 this weekend and Harold@HP will be testing the software out as well.

Thanks for the support guys!

Nope no need for the 02 sensor if you don't have the catless pipes. It is used so that it won't throw any codes.

I know, that's what I thought but I was worried it was needed with the tune because the tune may be too aggressive or something

No, sorry. I should have clarified. My car is full Stage II and to ease with removing / installing parts for tune development, I never removed the 02 sims.

Thumbs up Got the Stage 1 on my 335i Saturday... The verdict? it's perfect!!

My clutch is a bit iffy at the moment, but I'm having a great time with this new tune!!

Silky smooth stock drivability but with unbelievable power all throughout the powerband!!!

The install takes about an hour and a half (actually stores each individual ECU's information so you can get your exact ECU settings back if you want... not just a general stock program), but the wait is so worth it!

Highly recommend this product and we'll be offering it at our shop shortly as well!

Great work guys!

Anyone interested in Socal or Norcal, please shoot us a PM or email, we can schedule a group flash day.

In the next week or two we will post some dyno numbers of our own to show stock vs LET stage 1.

HP- as I said I would be interested especially in any sort of special, but, in terms of detection, how detectable is this really by the dealer since I have the MSD 81 because I don't really want a flash to cause serious dealer issues, this being a leased car and all, and want to know what the hp is on the stage 1 and 2, is it roughly similar to the Dinan numbers?

Like every other software flash on the market it is undetectable until they test drive the car. The stage 1 flash on a mustang dyno put out 341rwhp and 351rwtq @ 11.7 psi, stage 2 is still in development and numbers will be released very soon. Dinan is claiming 384hp and 421tq i do believe these are bhp numbers and running 13.2 psi with a $1999.00 price tag. I also heard that no matter Dinan or not they are no longer holding warranty for flashed software for the n54 engines, please do not quote me on this.

If you find yourself having to go into the dealer for any work, we can reflash your car back to stock at no extra charge and when you all done your tune can be reflashed. Also like Emil mentioned we actually download and store your specific software and that is the one that is returned back to your DME if necessary

We will soon release our own dyno results on a complete stock 335i vs LET Stage 1. Comparison can be done after its release.

The flash will be invisible to the GT1.

at least 1, and invisible to the GT1- is that BMWs dealer code reader or the secret BMW NA mothership code reader searching for tunes

I'm interested in this flash as well. I still haven't settled on a tune and this one is definitely peeking my interest. It helps that the guys at HP are doing this as well. After all I'll be down in Santa Barbara in a few months for that new diff, so maybe I'll take care of this flash on that trip as well.
