I plan on having my other wheels on for the next event. i imagine I'll pick up another coupla seconds with that setup.

Results were posted on the chapter webpage. Didn't realize I won by that large of a margin... with runflats, no less.

It was just plain fun to drive the car out there, regardless of the results.

Yeah, I saw that, and DS is generous for the 135i, in my mind. We do not use SCCA's clasing system. Ours is specifically suited to BMWs and used by quite a few chapters. I'm pretty much even with a stock to stock e36 m3, in my 135i. Mods are worth equal points to both cars, except I get hit for way more points for the tune, since I gain more on a turbo car than a NA one.

Hi Nicolas! Baby keeping you up? Congrats again, Bro!!

Yes, as mikeo reported, there is a delay with rapid on-off. I need to get used to it a lot more, and on the runs I did plan ahead, I cut a few seconds (if you know autox.. a few seconds is amazing).

However, I'm blown away that the runflats worked so well in the wet. I would definitely consider running them for rainy events from now on.

Well at least summer is almost here so you won't need to worry about them now. But hey thanks for the info! I'm sure many owners will be stoked to hear this!

Haha. No. That's just a photoshop I made when I ordered my car.

I initially thought they said something about me going up on two wheels, but I think they may have been comparing my car to the WRX and STi, saying that my car was two wheel drive (I think).

Uploaded in-car video of my best run to youtube:

This was the best run in my class by more than two seconds, and my class is not small or untalented. This car does pretty well for itself.

Adding to first post in this thread too.

Saw this posted on another board. I managed 1st in my class, against mostly modded M3s and MiniS. I drove all night from Philly to get there, and didn't have time to put my race tires on. Even so, I managed a 1st by an astounding 2+ seconds. The car is an animal, and when it was raining, I had FTD until it stopped, out of a field of 56 cars. When it got dry out, the front 215's were taxed to do much more than they did.

I hope to see more 1s this year at the Boston events!!!

In-car footage from my best run of the day (nailed my win with this run). Yes, I need a bit of help with my hand placement, but those of you who autocross, I never got tangled...

Thanks Larryn, though yur video camera needs to be mounted higher..
